RURAL HEALTH EDUCATION COUNCIL

The RURAL HEALTH EDUCATION COUNCIL is the pioneering and only body in Indian is embracing highly qualified doctors, the RURAL doctors of all the disciplines, viz allopathy, Ayurveda, Homeopaths, Unani & others including Paramedics under one umbrella. This is an IRMA’s unique character and we are proud of it. This association is directly descended from Humanity association established by Late Ajit Mallick under the guidance of Mahatma Gandhi during British Raj in 1924. The numbers of trainees rise every day; it exceeds 47,500 in January 1998. (Highest in the World) The association is affiliated to world RURAL medical association based in Geneva, Switzerland. It conducts training under guideline policy of WHO, UNICEF and Government of India. The association has a sister organization in almost all the Asian, African Countries namely Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Ghana, Vietnam etc. It has also collaborated on specific projects with Red Cross.

Eligibility :

10th or Higher

Medium of Instruction : English / Bengali

Syllabus : Basic Sciences, Community Health , Community Nursing, Field & Institutional Practice

Study Material : Lessons covering different subjects such as Anatomy Physiology, Pathology, Practice of Medicine, Health and hygiene etc. will be sent you by the council through post.
